A termite infestation is one of the scariest phrases in a homeowner’s vocabulary. Beyond causing structural damage, termites can cost homeowners thousands of dollars. Fortunately, you can protect your home by partnering with Bizzy Bee Exterminators! We offer two termite treatment options: bait system and liquid application. Let’s dive into the details:

Termite Treatment: Bait System

Bait systems comprise of plastic cylinders filled with special wood that termites love to eat. Unbeknownst to them, bait is also placed inside the system that will kill them once consumed. Although it is a longer process than liquid termite treatment because termites must first find the bait system, it is very effective. The bait system is placed in the ground around the perimeter of the home. This type of termite treatment will kill entire colonies due to its ability to inhibit the production of chitin, a necessary compound to allow termites to molt.

We proudly offer the Sentricon System to our clients.

Termite Treatment: Liquid Application

Liquid application starts with digging a trench around the home and spraying the void with the liquid termite treatment. When adding the dirt back into the trench, more liquid treatment will be added. As the termites travel toward your home, they will encounter the liquid application and die. Sometimes, liquid termite treatment works faster than the bait system due to its ability to intercept the termite while it is traveling toward your home versus waiting to attract termites to the bait system.

We proudly offer two types of liquid application to our customers – Termidor Defense and Bora-Care.

Which termite treatment is better?

Both types of termite treatment will effectively eliminate colonies of termites. To choose which option is best for you, allow one of our skilled technicians to look at your property and discuss which treatment will be right for your home.
