1. Pest Control Takes 20-30 Minutes to Dry
If you’re worried about afternoon rain washing away the pesticide, rest assured that it only needs roughly 30 minutes to dry. Once it has dried, it will stick to the surface it was sprayed onto. The liquid will become an insoluble barrier that pests can’t see and rain won’t wash away!
2. Your Technicians Will Apply it in Strategic Locations
Your technician can spray the external base of your home, as most rain will be caught in the gutters and forced through the downspouts. This allows the external walls of your home to remain dry and the pesticide is untouched. If severe wind is approaching, it may be best to reschedule the appointment.
3. Pest Control Can Be Applied Indoors
When it rains, pests may try to find solace in your warm, dry home! Your technician will expertly apply our proven pesticide in areas where the insects are entering and harboring their young. Rain or shine – pesticide can still be applied indoors. Several places your technician may focus on include:
- Around doors and windows
- In bathrooms, basements, or kitchens
- Under baseboards if a gap is present
- Any place you have spotted a pest (tell us!)
4. Pest Control in the Rain Forces Insects Out of their Colonies
Too much rain can force insects like ants out of their colonies due to flooding! This works in our favor, as the ants will search for dry areas and unknowingly stumble upon the pesticide we sprayed earlier around your home.
